There were a few issues with my file as the size would have cut of some of the design- Stacey was kinand patient enough to point this out and even edit the file so that nothing of the design would be cut off, I‘m really thankful! She also replied to my feedback really quickly and helped me out with other issues as well, I am really thankful to her service :)
Overall, I love how these came out, the colors of the print are really vibrant and the foil effect works accordingly! Works best with a hair dryer :)
Such a fun effect! Though I almost wish that they offered bigger sizes as well, such as A5. That’s just my personal preference though.
Would derinitely buy again!
The heat-sensitive postcard is accurate to description: it is a 10×15cm, matte coated, 300gsm paper print with a layer of special black ink on top. The black ink is kind of slightly raised foil on paper and becomes transparent when heated.
I tried it out with contact of glass of freshly boiled water. The glass with hot water can be put on top of print and kept like 2-3 seconds, the print will NOT be damaged, so don’t worry. Black ink becomes transparent. To keep it transparent for longer, keep the glass longer on the print. The only downsides are the production price, the moq of 30 and the fact it needs a relatively high temperature to become transparent. Other than that, I am glad this type of product is offered now. Quality is fine.
Service & communication was great as always and I received corrected proofs and replies from my rep (Selena) fast. Everything arrived fast and safely. Thank you for that!
(On attached photo is my design. The full black ink area (trousers) becomes transparent, but for showcase here I made it only partially transparent.)
